Mr. Sushil Mantri Elected as the Vice President of CREDAI –National

Mr. Sushil Mantri, Chairman and Managing Director of Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd., has been elected as the National Vice President of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI). He was elected as the Vice President of CREDAI at the recently held general body meeting in New Delhi to decide on the new leadership team.

Mantri Developers was founded by Mr. Sushil Mantri in 1999 and since then there has been no looking back. It went out to earn itself the title of India’s leading real estate developers.  

Mr. Mantri has also served as the President of the Karnataka chapter of CREDAI in the year 2010 and at present he is the President of Members Association for CREDAI- Karnataka. His election as the National Vice President of CREDAI certainly marks his new journey in his over a decade long journey as a real estate developer.

Mr. Mantri’s meticulous insights and extensive work experience in the realty sector and Infrastructure Services Sector will prove to be the biggest asset for CREDAI. Has has contributed in a big way to the CREDAI’s activities and during representations on policy and legal issues.

Commenting on his election as the Vice President, Mr. Mantri expressed himself saying that he felt privileged to take up the role as National Vice President at CREDAI at that stage of industry’s lifecycle when the realty sector was getting recognised globally. He further added that there was a need to improve the policies and introduce constructive initiatives which would be required to serve the different needs of the industry.

High land cost, delay in approvals, liquidity issues both at buyers’ as well as developers’ levels, lack of infrastructure and skilled manpower are posing as stumbling blocks in the development of realty sector. In order to overcome these challenges, there is a strong need to increase transparency, ease out regulatory framework, increase and develop skilled manpower. These reforms would help in improving the investor and buyer’s confidence.

Further adding to Mr. Mantri’s achievements, he is also the Founding Member of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). He is an exceptionally odd innovative thinker with an astute and resolute sense of enterprise and has evolved from an entrepreneur to an industry trendsetter with self-effacing skills.
